My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely bed and breakfast in the Yorkshire Moors National Park. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a wealth of local knowledge from the host. The top floor of the house was all ours, complete with a separate lounge area and an ensuite bathroom. It felt like we had the place to ourselves, but with the benefit of excellent company. The beautiful garden was accessible and we enjoyed a lovely chat with the host while admiring the surroundings. The bottle of prosecco awaiting us upon arrival was a delightful touch. Oh, and did I mention Eddison the dalmatian? He was an absolute dream for dog lovers like us! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The host even offered to pick us up from the wedding we were attending at Danby Castle in case our taxi didn't show up. our stay was truly outstanding. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would. We will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning location and property! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and squeaky clean. Charlotte was incredibly helpful and even offered to rescue us from a late-night taxi disaster. Plus, Eddie, the co-host, gives the best cuddles in exchange for steak!
Oh, there was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about this place. Perfect in every way!

The room at Floyter House was amazing! I felt like a king in the super king four poster bedroom. And I loved that there was a second room which I could use as a sitting room or a twin bedroom with two sofa beds. The separate bathroom was a bonus, giving me all the privacy I needed. The twin room also had a private bathroom, which was very convenient. And guess what? It had a tea and coffee maker too! Plus, the heating in the twin room kept me cozy throughout my stay.
Honestly, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I didn't love the twin room having two sofa beds. It's just my personal preference, though.

The host, Charlotte, was incredibly welcoming and provided great tips for exploring the village. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, with the village being quiet and situated right by the moors, yet only 13 miles from Whitby.
Felt very welcome, no complaints.
